who I am

Hey there! My name is Chelsea Moudry and I'm a photographer living in a small coastal town in Washington. It's the oyster capital of the world if you feel like looking it up. We're a pretty big deal. My entire focus for a good portion of my life was always 'get out of here, get educated, and get yourself an apartment in the city' and definitely never had anything to do with photography. In fact, I actually went to school to be a writer. But life and people have an interesting way of changing and now here I am, living in a small town and I actually really genuinely love having a home base where all my friends and family are

what I love

Obviously I'm pretty into photography because even when I'm not working with clients, I'm up to something with my camera in hand, whether that's hiking and exploring or collaborating with local artists for a styled shoot. I also totally love trying out new breweries and consuming ridiculous amounts of bar food and good IPAs. I mean, when people ask me what I do for fun, that's literally all I can ever think of. I absolutely love cooking for others, listening to too many podcasts, making Spotify playlists that reflect any and every kind of mood, and to be totally honest with you, I love social media. Too much? Who knows. It's the first thing I do in the morning and the last thing I do before bed. Let's ignore that. Minimalistic stuff is fun too and I love plants even though they don't always love me. Tacos and Netflix too because of course.

what I do

I'm a wedding and elopement photographer who roams to and from Seattle and Portland and all around the Pacific Northwest. I'm what the kids would call a 'dark and moody' photographer. I like to capture love and happiness as candid moments in very cool places with very cool people. Always, always, love comes first and adventure comes second. As much as I love traveling to incredible locations, it's all about the connection between two people and the love they share. I love couples who are each other's best friends, who know exactly how to make each other laugh, and just feel genuinely comfortable around each other. I want every couple to be able to look at their photos and see what everyone else can see. TRUE. LOVE.
