Behind the Scenes: Commercial Lingerie Photography at My Raymond Studio

As a commercial photographer based in Raymond, Washington, I'm constantly exploring what's possible when you combine creative vision with the right space and team. This recent studio shoot is a perfect example of what we can create together, from concept to final image, all under one roof.

The Creative Vision

For this shoot, I wanted something that felt both intimate and editorial. The warm terracotta backdrop gives off that vintage, film-inspired aesthetic that's having a major moment in fashion and lifestyle marketing right now. Add in some strategically placed greenery, and you get images that feel effortless and organic. The kind of content that actually performs across social media and e-commerce platforms.

Technical Approach

Lighting Setup: I used soft, natural-looking lighting to create dimension while keeping everything skin-friendly, which is absolutely essential for lingerie and intimate apparel brands. The warm tones complement the product beautifully without fighting for attention.

Styling Choices: Distressed denim paired with a neutral-toned bra creates imagery that feels approachable and real. This isn't overly styled or unattainable. It's the wearable, relatable content that actually drives conversion because people can see themselves in it.

Black and White Variation: I always deliver both color and monochrome options to my commercial clients. The black and white shots add artistic range and work especially well for print campaigns or more editorial placements.

What This Means for Brands

If you're looking for commercial photography that delivers high-quality product showcase without feeling like a sterile catalog shot, lifestyle imagery that actually tells a story, versatile content for multiple marketing channels (social, web, print, email), and fast turnaround with in-house production capabilities, this is exactly the type of work I can create for you.

My Studio Space

Here's what makes my Raymond studio different: it has this great midcentury modern lifestyle vibe that works beautifully for natural, lived-in shots. But I've also set it up with multiple photo backdrops in different colors for when you need those cleaner, more controlled looks. Basically, we can shoot intimate lifestyle content and polished product shots in the same session without missing a beat.

I work with professional models, have extensive styling resources, and can art direct full campaigns from start to finish. Everything happens in-house, which means better creative control and faster timelines for you.

What I offer commercial clients:

  • Full-service production (you don't need to source locations, models, or equipment separately)

  • Creative direction and shot list development

  • Quick turnaround times

  • High-resolution files optimized for all uses

  • Rights and licensing that work for your business needs
