Adrift Hotel

Long Beach, Washington

Adrift Hotel holds a special place for me because it was my very first hospitality client, which means I have a lot of feelings about it and also I will photograph it forever probably.

Located in Long Beach, WA, Adrift is the kind of boutique hotel that people book because it feels like a whole vibe, not just a place to crash. Sustainable design, industrial details, concrete and wood and linen textures, relaxed West Coast energy. It's intentional without being precious about it, which is harder to pull off than it sounds.

Guests come for the sauna sessions, slow mornings, coastal bike rides, and evenings downstairs at Pickled Fish where the food is good and the light is even better. The ocean air comes through the windows and you just kind of... decompress. Whether you want to or not, honestly.

It's a space designed to be experienced, and I never get tired of photographing it.
